With the help of Alcoholics Anonymous, The Twelve Steps, Christ Powered Recovery(CPR), therapy, as well as finding faith, I have done a full 180 with my life. What I've learned and how much growth I've achieved within this past year entails me staying true to this path of recovery.  Learning the tools of the trade, applying them, relearning them, refining them, seeing and using the growth within myself to finally spread the knowledge to those openminded and willing to listen.
My name is Sebastian Fischer, formally known to most as Max. I am a recovering alcoholic with a year of sobriety under my belt so far. To some it may not seem like a long time but when your mindset and mentality are closed in on the saying "one day at a time" while the dragon patiently waits around every turning moment, it can seem like an eternity. Even though I have a year under my belt in Sobriety and Recovery it does not mean I am recovered. There are still Steps for me to complete as some take more time than most, as well as the fact that I was an alcoholic for almost 3 years. The Twelve Steps, AA, CPR, are going to be with me the rest of my life as a recovering addict, even when I complete my Steps and my sobriety date surpasses my alcoholism days, I will still be in recovery.
